Large temperature differences between rooms can lead to condensation and moisture problems. It is therefore important that your home is heated evenly – even in rooms you don't spend much time in.
- Avoid turning off the heating completely in individual rooms
- Ensure that the temperature is roughly the same throughout your home.
- Keep doors open between rooms, if possible
You achieve the best and most energy-efficient heating when the temperature is the same in all rooms. It requires less energy to maintain a stable temperature than to continuously heat up cold rooms again.
It is therefore recommended that you do not turn off the heatingwhen you leave your home during the day. Large temperature fluctuations can lead to:
- Higher heating bills
- Cold surfaces and drafts
- Condensation on walls and windows
- Increased risk of moisture and mold
Even heat is better for your indoor climate, your comfort, and your home as a whole.
