- Drying clothes indoors releases large amounts of moisture, which in the worst case can lead to:
Condensation on windows and condensation in the home
- Moisture in walls and ceilings
- Increased risk of mold
If you have to dry clothes indoors:
- Use a bathroom with ventilation
- Ensure thorough and prolonged ventilation
- Avoid drying clothes in living areas
If possible, use the dryer, which is available in most of our homes.
Please note: If moisture damage is found when you move out, for example as a result of drying clothes indoors, this may result in additional repair costs, for which you, as the tenant, will be liable.
