The village ecosystem

UN17 Village focuses on biodiversity by bringing plants from Kalvebod Fælled into the courtyards. Rainwater from the roofs is collected and used for the irrigation systems in the courtyards, and solar cells have been installed on the building to convert the sun's heat into electricity

In UN17 Village, you'll also have access to Fælledhuset, where there will be exciting events for residents and free use in daily life. You'll also be able to book in for special events - everything from christenings to birthdays can be celebrated in cozy surroundings with space for both cooking and fun activities.

At UN17 Village, everyone can help shape what we do together. With the help of our community coordinator, our residents have already organized recurring communal meals, invited to an intimate concert in the orangery and gathered the neighbors for football and good movies on the big screen. Here, we love ideas for new events and experience the joy together when they unfold!

Christine Støvring lives in Kronen, which is also part of UN17 Village. She lives here with her two children Adam and Sarah and her cat Tommy, who have all settled in well. She found herself in a situation where she was looking for peace, nature and, not least, a community with other residents. She feels she has found all that and more at UN17 Village.

Many of our residents enjoy gathering around activities such as yoga, pilates, walking and running. So far, we have regular yoga and pilates classes and an annual exercise week that puts a smile on your face and a sweat on your brow.
